By ordering from us, you are agreeable to the following terms and conditions set by ABITE ATELIER PTE LTD
We reserve the right to use creative judgment or adjust where we deem required to maintain the quality and workmanship of our designs but also preserve the interpretation of your design to the best of our abilities. All goods will be photographed, and we reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion. Please let us know if there are any dietary restrictions. Our products may contain dairy or nut products and other allergens. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold us harmless due any allergic reactions. We will not be held responsible for any adverse effects arising from the consumption of our product. Most fondant figurines contain small proportions of inedible items; it is your responsibility to ensure these are removed by your caterer/guests before consumption e.g. Support dowels, ribbons, wires, skewers…etc.
Orders will be confirmed when full payment is received. Orders are on a first-come-first-pay basis and must be placed at least 1-2 weeks in advance (subject to availability). All payments are to be made in full, and we accept payments through CHEQUE/PAYNOW/I-BANKING.
For any urgent orders, additional charges are as follows:
Express: 100% for less than 24 hours’ notice
Priority: 50% for 2-3 days’ notice
Rush: 25% for 4-5 days’ notice
Cake designs are subjected to slight variations and availability of decorative accessories. Cake colours and decorations may be subjected to slight variations from actual product due to possible discrepancies in photo or screen resolution. Fresh fruits in the cakes are seasonal and sweetness cannot be assured. We reserve the rights to substitute, change, accept or reject any orders or cake designs.
Dessert Table should be indoors in air-conditioned environment. Do take note that a table of approximately 1.5m (length) is to be provided by customers for setup. If you require any additional printed backdrop, please make sure the table is against a wall for us to attach the backdrop. The backdrop will be normally attached onto the wall using adhesive tapes and do inform us in advance if backdrop is preferred to be tie onto a pillar. The usage of dessert table will be 4 hours excluding setup. Any additional hour or part thereof will be charged at $50/hour. Plastic knife and candles will be provided. All display props and items are on a rental basis. For any loss/damage, $200 per item will be charged to the customer. Please kindly have someone to acknowledge our Props Rental form at least 15 mins before the party starts. For orders made more than 1 month in advance, preview of backdrop design is available upon request. All other designs are done at our discretion accordingly to theme.
SELF-COLLECTION / DELIVERY
We encourage customers to have the cake sent directly to the event to minimise the movement of the cake. Customers may choose to self-collect or have the cake delivered.
For self-collection, please check the product before it leaves our premises. We will not be responsible for any damage/mishaps after self-collection is made. Tiered cakes are most at risk during transporting. For customers opting for self-collection, please inform us 2 days in advance on your preferred date and time with a 1-hour time frame (eg; 8pm to 9pm).
Here are some tips for self-collection:
Have a second person in the car to assist and support the cake box, if possible. To make sure it
Do not put the cake in direct sunlight.
If you don’t have help, put the cake in the flattest part of the car, which is usually the passenger
side floor in the front seat. Do not put on the car seat as it is not leveled.
Drive carefully! Like if you have kids or elderly in the car.
Be careful not to trip and look at a path for tripping hazards, before you start walking.
Air-conditioner on full blast! Cakes love the cold and hold together better. Be sure items are not stacked around your cake that can fall or slide into your box.
For delivery services, please allow a 30-minutes buffer in-lieu of traffic conditions. Please provide an accurate address and contact number of the person accepting the product. Once the product is delivered and signed, ABITE ATELIER PTE LTD will not be responsible for any damages/mishaps. In the event where the courier arrives at the location and is not able to deliver the product, the courier will attempt to call the customer and wait for 10-mins. Thereafter, the product will be returned to ABITE ATELIER PTE LTD and re-delivery will be at the customer's expense. An additional of $30/$35 will be charged for re-delivery.

CANCELLATION / CHANGE OF DATE
All our cakes and pastry are specially customized to each order and great effort is taken in the artwork and preparation. Therefore, we strongly discourage any last-minute cancellation.
If Client cancels up to 14 days prior to the Event Date, it will be entitled to a full refund. If Client cancels between up to 7 days prior to the Event Date, it will be entitled to a fifty percent (50%) refund. If Client cancels less than 6 days prior to the Event Date, it will not be entitled to a refund.
Product quality and customer satisfaction are our utmost priority. All products are hand-made and outcome of products may vary. However, if any dissatisfaction arises from difference in colour, taste or outlook of the product, we will not be able to provide any refunds. ABITE ATELIER PTE LTD reserves the right to replace any item of similar value without prior notice.
Design & Fabrication Work will commence upon receiving of full payment. ABITE ATELIER PTE LTD reserves all right to reject any revisions and changes after confirmation. In the event of a dispute arising out of unsatisfactory work that cannot be resolved by mutual agreement, the Parties agree to engage in mediation or a 10% refund on the individual item.
STORAGE & CONSUMPTION
All cakes are recommended to be kept in an air-conditioned room and away from direct sunlight for up to 5 hours. For cakes that may be frigerated, it has to be taken out to “thaw” for at least 1 – 2 hours before consumption. Once out of the fridge, it is preferable to place the cake in an air-conditioned room, to prevent drastic drop in temperature. Fondant cakes are not advised to be frigerated. For leftovers (if any), air-tight containers are recommended for storage and be consumed within the next 3 days. ABITE ATELIER PTE LTD will not be responsible for any stomach discomfort or food poisoning for consumption of our products after 3 days of storage.
